Students determine individual
properties of each type of rock and
soil and classify their roles in the rock
cycle. The generous quantities make
the kit useful for a variety of other
exercises as well. It comes with 15
pieces each of 16 rock types. 100 cc of
crushed granite, 1 lb. each of two types
of soil, 30 pieces of halite, 1,500 mL
of limestone chips, and 30 dispensing
containers.
