Students learn how to use weather
instruments to gather data for their own
classroom weather station. The kit offers
a full week of activities and includes
materials to demonstrate heat transfer,
temperature, air pressure, barometers,
wind, evaporation, clouds, humidity and
psychrometers. It also comes with two
videos, The Weather at 5:00 (duration:
24 minutes) and The Hydrologic
Cycle (duration: 20 minutes), as well
as a teacher’s guide with strategies,
preparation tips, pretest and national
